Hermitage Country Club
1248 Hermitage Road
Manakin Sabot, Virginia 23103
Established in 1900 and located in beautiful Goochland County, Virginia, Hermitage Country Club (HCC) offers 36 holes of the best golf architecture the mid-Atlantic has to offer. You’ll play on one of two championship courses that require strategic shot and decision making as you work your way through 40-foot pines and hit over streams, ponds, and lakes.
Here is some of the history of HCC:
Hosted the 1949 PGA Championship won by Sam Snead
Site of the PGA Senior Tour Crestar Classic—1983 through 1990—including Arnold Palmer's last PGA Tour victory in 1988
Host of the annual Tommy Galloway Father-Son Tournament
Site of the 1990 Virginias-Carolinas Team Matches
Site of the 2000 VSGA Amateur Championship
The club is about 40 minutes from the Richmond International Airport and 10-15 minutes from Short Pump Town Center.
